Just One Moment and its ExtraOrdinary

Share

My images are real, filled with emotion combined with light and finely composed and edited so you don’t get lost in the muck. There are so many factors that I bring with my camera kit that can’t be packaged and taught with a Youtube video. I combine patience and perseverance, with humor and aspiration and use both my instincts and aesthetic to compose what I call “The ExtraOrdinary Moment”.
Reach out to me to hear more about what I do. I love to talk about it and believe I can do it for you whether you’re a family, brand or corporation.

It could be any morning…

These pics might not be documentary shots of an ordinary day but I think I captured that feeling all parents have of those moments in our hectic lives that are frameable. We are so craz busy these days and we think about photography as something to invest in when we need that perfect christmas picture. Seriously the pix that mean the most to us will be the ordinary moments that can be crafted to capture our extra-ordinary lives..! Don’t you thin?
I thank Suzy for her trust in me as a friend but mostly for her faith in me as an artist!

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in a baby carriage

These images are about my personal project, Conception. My project, which is so near and dear to my soul, is about family in this millenium and it features the new norm that is no longer defined by race, gender, religion or marital status. It’s about creating a family becuase as an adult you have that need to nurture the next generation on a personal level. The majority of Americans still raise their children to believe in the “traditional” idea of family. There is definitely nothing wrong with tradition but our kids should be raised with the belief that whatever path their life takes it’s OK. We can let our children know that they can have it all, just as long as they know ALL is by thier own definition.

I became a mom; Christmas Day 2002 and suddenly I truly felt the magic of the season. I love seeing the twinkling lights and hearing the Christmas songs as it is a celebration of my son’s birth (a bit profound but that’s not what this post is about).     As, Jake started to see the […]

Yo Mama “Show me the Love”

I waited 45 years to become a mom and it is the single most gratifying thing I ever did. The sad part is I’m not sure my son will have a visual diary of how much I love hanging with him and how happy he makes me feel. You see I cringe every time the […]

About A Girl

Before I moved to Mayberry rarely went grocery shopping. If I needed something, I just stopped at the local Bodega but mostly I just ate out. ( oh how I miss that NYC lifestyle). Settling in the burbs and becoming a mom has made trips to the mega food emporiums an almost daily occurrence, which […]

Love is a Battlefield

As Valentine day approaches I am torn between the melancholy thoughts of not having someone special to celebrate with and the true reality of relationships.  I am no therapist (or statistician) but based on my daily interactions with couples and families as a lifestyle photographer, I can definitely say that very rarely does the perfect […]

The Femme Fatale … NOT

Share

I am always visually inspired when I watch film noire films from the 40’s and 50’s. This was the era of the Femme Fatale, an intoxicating beauty who used her charm and sexual allure to engage the leading man in achieving some dubious agenda.Veronica Lake, Gene Tierney, Ava Gardner and Lana Turner created some of […]
