A dreary rainy day became a radiant celebration of love because of the wonderful details and emotional connection every guest had with Lisa & David. All the marvelous succulent flowers around the room, fabulous food from Mumford’s and genuine laughter made this…

My images are real, filled with emotion combined with light and finely composed and edited so you don’t get lost in the muck. There are so many factors that I bring with my camera kit that can’t be packaged and taught with a Youtube video. I combine patience and perseverance, with humor and aspiration and use both my instincts and aesthetic to compose what I call “The ExtraOrdinary Moment”.
Reach out to me to hear more about what I do. I love to talk about it and believe I can do it for you whether you’re a family, brand or corporation.

This post is the result of just wandering with purpose. The city is LA and I never seem to connect to people out there. I don’t know if it’s my NY in your face attitude (probably) or my New England no nonsense approach to life ( oh that’s kinda the same but with a different accent)… Well, I just started driving with less then 2 hours left before my flight back to reality. The sun was casting that golden hour hue and I thought I’d check out this funky place on Lincoln. It’s called the Love Shack but I didn’t know that before , I thought it was a place with food trucks and maybe I could get inspired and also grab a fast dinner. No food…. it’s a combo of music, art and vintage stuff type of place… Visually stimulating! I wandered around taking Instagram shots but I just wasn’t feeling the “I wanna capture this and show the world my vision” type of vibe . That California lifestyle has been done so many times and the locals are all so super perfect & trendy that I just didn’t think any of them would fall in with my “authentic candid style”. As I was leaving I turned to get one more camera phone pic and I saw this beautifully imperfect girl painting.

These pics might not be documentary shots of an ordinary day but I think I captured that feeling all parents have of those moments in our hectic lives that are frameable. We are so craz busy these days and we think about photography as something to invest in when we need that perfect christmas picture. Seriously the pix that mean the most to us will be the ordinary moments that can be crafted to capture our extra-ordinary lives..! Don’t you thin?
I thank Suzy for her trust in me as a friend but mostly for her faith in me as an artist!

International and domestic adoption, surrogacy, joint parenting contracts, and artificial insemination with donor eggs and sperm banks are all the options available to creating a family. It is mind boggling to think of all the different ways these choices can be combined to conceive your dream of parenting. Conception chronicles just a few of the loving homes that have used these alternative means to conceive their own nuclear family.

In the Summer, I rarely long for my NYC days or my culturally enlightened friends. But Summer is over and I am missing intellectual provoking visual stimulation and maybe some healthy treats ( Smorgasbord, here we come). Our kids are back to school, being educated and it is a reminder that I too want to be challenged on a more cultural and intellectual level . Farewell Summer…

It seems the advertising world realizes they have been spending too much time on the Millennial’s, Generation X and Y who are in debt and really don’t have that discretionary income the advertisers target. It’s the Baby Boomers (now referred to as Seniors) that actually spend the $.
